Jo Standing has a rich history of experience in writing and works to see her clients thrive and grow in the creative process. She has attended creative writing classes, workshops and instructive seminars since 2003 in Big Sur, California at Esalen Institute, at the North Vancouver Community Center, Emily Carr Art Institute on Granville Island as well as at the University of British Columbia.
Jo has been asked to read screenplays in Los Angeles and offer detailed synopses on them and has been employed by writers around North America since 2011. Her work has been shown within the Popular Lately section of Elephant Journal as well as praised in the Australian author, Dean Mayes' blogosphere and as of 2016 published in the July issue of USA TODAY magazine.
Jo aids in the writing of topics ranging from memoirs to the political and controversial non-fiction project. She helps with the creation of books, articles, website development and speeches via one-on-one telephone and webcast appointments.
Jo is a Certified Coach through Rhodes College in Downtown Vancouver, Canada. She has attended and grown from Writing & Publishing Conferences around the world including in London, the UK, New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.
